I am very excited to annonce, although a little late, that the short film I worked on a while ago has been awarded the 5th place jury prize in the focus forward film competition at Sundance. It’s great to be involved in such a worthy project and fantastic to see that they have also raised almost £120,000 on kickstarted to further develop the project. I’m looking forward to seeing where they take this amazing idea.

Great design. However, probably not very effective. This article uses a simulation to show how the kafon would work in the field.

Thanks for the comment. The guys have used Kickstarter to raise money to further develop the concept and design to improve its efficiency. As I see it, part of the purpose of the Mine Kafon is also to raise awareness of the issues with mines which it has definitely done. I look forward seeing where they take it.
